Spring Birding Weekend
Come experience the spring migration of songbirds along the Mississippi Flyway at Tara Wildlife. The Spring Weekend activities combine both casual birding opportunities along with organized birding tours led by seasoned birders.
Tara is adjacent to the Mississippi River, providing a beautiful landscape for bird watching. Baltimore Orioles, Prothonotary Warblers, Painted Buntings, Indigo Buntings and more can be seen at Tara.
This is a great weekend getaway for birders, with programs, social events, open-air bus tours, live music, and great bird watching opportunities. Lodging and meals are included in the weekend package. Day passes are also available.

Day passes: $25 day passes for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under. Melas available with advanced notice Stay the night: $100/person for double occupancy, $140 for single occupancy. Children 12 and under add $40. Event fees additional. Meals sold a la carte Weekend package: $255/person for double occupany, $314 for single occupancy. Fee includes 5 meals, socials/receptions, event fees, and snacks and drinks.
