VICKSBURG USA: MORE THAN YOU EVER IMAGINED
TECH CENTERED, ENTREPRENEURIAL, COOL, HISTORIC, AND FULL OF ART
Photoshop Class - Unlock Your Creativity!
The Holy Trinity Conservatory of the Fine Arts presents its popular Photoshop workshop class beginning on January 12 2016. This class offers hands-on instruction in a relaxed environment. Taught by an expert photographer and teacher, these classes are fun, informative and affordable.
The instructor is Dr. David Rorick, a professional photographer and educator. He takes the mystery out of camera settings and software functions to help students unlock their creativity.
Classes are held at the Holy Trinity Conservatory of Music, located at 920 South Street in downtown Vicksburg. The Conservatory is an outreach ministry of the Church of the Holy Trinity.
During this four-session workshop, we will learn how to improve the photos we have already taken. We will use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to organize our photos, to crop, straighten and correct them. We will also learn how to combine multiple photos, remove unwanted elements, and how to bring out our subjects from distracting backgrounds.
Participants will need a laptop computer. Macintosh or Windows PCs will work. Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom software is also required. It's available for free for a 30-day trial. After that, it costs only $10 per month for a subscription - a remarkable bargain for such powerful software.
