NAMI Vicksburg Special Presentation "In Our Own Voice"

The public is cordially invited to attend NAMI Vicksburg's special presentation of In Our Own Voice, a 60-minute program featuring two speakers who share compelling personal stories of living with and overcoming the challenges posed by mental illness while reclaiming rich and meaningful lives.  A video accompanies the presentation, and audience participation and discussion are encouraged.  By sharing this info on mental illness with the community, NAMI Vicksburg hopes to replace misunderstanding, fear, judgment, and stigma with insight, awareness, and acceptance.  The presentation will begin promptly at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24th, in the Warren Yazoo Behavioral Health Conference Rm., 3444 Wisconsin Ave., Vicksburg 39180.  Please RSVP to namivicksburg@gmail.com or 601-630-9470 to ensure a seat.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
