The Mississippi Regional Housing Summit is being sponsored by the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Warren County Habitat for Humanity, Mountain of Faith Ministries, Mississippi Manufactured Housing Association, Vicksburg Convention Center and the Vicksburg Housing Authority.  The Vicksburg Regional Housing Summit will be held on September 20-22, 2015 at the Vicksburg Convention center located at 1600 Mulberry St, Vicksburg, MS 39180.The theme for the Mississippi Regional Housing Summit is “Exploring the Future of Housing Together”, focusing on the Delta region of our state which encompasses U.S. House of Representatives, Bennie Thompson’s 2^nd Congressional District. Our goal for this Summit is to introduce your area to creative ideas and provide information on NEW and innovative housing concepts, such as building ultra-efficient homes that combine state-of-the art energy-efficient construction, creating a home that is more comfortable, durable and affordable.  Breakout sessions will be held with speakers from various organizations to discuss new sources of funding that will increase the quality and affordability of the housing stock. We will also have ONSITEthree NEW innovative factory built homes on display for attendees to tour and qualifies you for a chance to win a $500 dollar cash prize to be drawn at the end of the Summit!!
Our keynote speakers for this special event will be Congressman Bennie Thompson and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The event will provide other speakers and break-out sessions that you will find very informative and engaging.
