Cooking with Herbs Workshop will begin at 5:30 pm at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center, 1302 Adams Street. Whether you grow your own herbs or buy them fresh, you’ll come away from this demonstration with many simple techniques and recipes with a few of the most common culinary herbs. Bring your note pad, your taste buds and your appetite to this workshop. You will sample all of the recipes that will be prepared for a full course meal. Washing, drying and freezing herbs will also be reviewed. Registration is $30/SCHF members and $35/non-members and includes all supplies. Space is limited and reservations are required.
