The 6th Annual Chill in the Hills 10K run, 5K walk and 1 mile fun run through downtown Vicksburg starts at Guaranty Bank & Trust, 1900 Cherry Street. The 10K run begins at 8:30 am with the 5K walk following at 8:35 am. The 1 mile fun run will begin immediately following the conclusion of the run and walk races. This race is in conjunction with Vicksburg SLAM. The course winds through historic downtown Vicksburg and surrounding neighborhoods. 10K Run and 5K Walk participants will receive a Chill in the Hills long sleeve shirt, refreshments, and door prizes. Shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 registered participants of the 10K run and 5K walk. Race packets can be picked up Friday, January 17 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Guaranty Bank, 1900 Cherry Street, or on-site at registration on race day. Pre-registration is $20 for the 10K run, $20 for the 5K walk and $10 for the 1 mile fun run (ages 12 and under). Late Registration begins at 7:00 am.
