This presentation will begin at 1:00 pm at 1022 Monroe Street. “Since 1820, the Jewish presence has been in Vicksburg….The narrative of the Jews in Vicksburg is an inherent part of the account of the city itself.” This presentation will explore the meaningful interconnectedness of Jewish people, the Jewish faith, and the development and evolution of a thriving multicultural river city. Presented in the ballroom of the Bazsinsky House, a Jewish family home for nearly 150 years.
