April 2024 Chamber Luncheon

Join us for the April Chamber Luncheon, proudly sponsored by International Paper. This month we welcome Mr. Oren Ruth, Mill Manager of International Paper, as our keynote speaker.
 

Oren Ruth is Mill Manager at IP’s Vicksburg Containerboard Mill, where he has overall responsibility for safety, people engagement, commercial and operational excellence and community stewardship. 

Oren is a gifted leader with a true community spirit. He participates in several community events such as the Run Thru History and was recently elected to the board of the Warren County Economic Development Foundation. 

He is a graduate of Louisiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering. 

Oren and his wife, Candice, have two sons: Oren Ruth, III (Trace), 9, and Paxton, 4. In what little spare time he has, Oren enjoys spending time with family, fishing, grilling, cooking, working out and traveling. 

Oren began his IP career in 2005 as a Pulp & Paper Process Engineer at the Mansfield, La., mill. In 2014, he moved to the Orange, Texas, mill and eventually to the Prattville, Ala., mill before moving here to take on the leadership role at Vicksburg Mill.
