16th ANNUAL CITYWIDE PEP RALLY

Kick off the new school year at the 16th annual Citywide Pep Rally on Saturday, August 9, 2014, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Outlets at Vicksburg. Sponsoring this year’s event is Blackburn Nissan. This annual end-of-summer event will feature showcases by Vicksburg’s high school and junior high school cheer and dance squads, as well as the sounds and instruments of the city’s high school bands. Emceeing this year’s event will be Miss Vicksburg’s Outstanding Teen Taylor Lee. Taylor is a student at St. Aloysius High School and a dancer on the school’s Flashette’s team. The event is open to the public and media are invited to cover the event.
